<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late <strong>John Carter</strong> announce his passing on Monday, July 11, 2016 at Corner Brook Long Term Care at the age of 86 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories his sons: Darryl (Sandra), Bruce (Brenda), Wayne (Diane), John jr (Glenda); daughters: Masie (Bruce) Lundrigan, and Christine (Shawn) Blanchard; grandchildren: Kayla, Sheldon, Nicole, Paul, Terry, Tracy, Susan, Lori, Jason, Sonya and Shane; great- grandchildren: Hayle, Zoe, Lily, Dustin, Ava, Ella, Kylie, Olivia, Alex and Claire; sisters: Sedella Wells, and Shirley (Bernard) Walsh; brothers: Ralph (Roxane) Osmond and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. The family would like to thank the staff at Western Memorial Regional Hospital and Long Term Care for their special care of their father during his stay there. He was predeceased by his wife Nora September 16, 1984; son: Alex October 17, 2009; parents: John and Susan Carter; brothers and sisters. Visitation will take place from St. David of Wales, Anglican Church in Pasadena on Tuesday, July 12<sup>th</sup> from 7-9 PM &amp; Wednesday, July 13<sup>th</sup> from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM from where Funeral Service will take place on Thursday, July 14th at 2:00 PM with Reverend Paulette Bugden officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery Pasadena. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation 1037 Topsail Road Mount Pearl, NL A1N 5E9 or&nbsp; Long Term Care 40 University Drive Corner Brook, NL A2H 5G4.
