It is with great sadness that the family of the late Violet Letto of Lanse au Clair announce her passing at the long term care unit in Forteau on Sunday, February 15th, 2004. She was in her 85th year. Leaving to treasure her memories: 4 sons, Clarence (Belinda), Norman (Gloria), Derrick (Melinda), and Lester (Violet); 2 daughters, Helen Chubbs (Russell), and Patsy (Percival); 19 gandchildren and 26 greatgrandchildren; 2 brothers, Solomon and William Butt; 1 sister, Jane Dicker, as well as a large circle of family & friends. She was predeceased by her husband Alex and 2 sisters, Wilomena and Bertha. The family received visitors at the Anglican Church, Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral took place on Thursday, February 18th at 2 o'clock wth Rev Roberta Woodman officiating, assisted by Rev. Norman Cutler. Internment followed at the church cemetery in Lance au Clair. As expressions of sympathy, flowers were graciously accepted.
