<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Eileen May Sheaves announces her passing on Tuesday, June 28, 2016 with her family by her side at Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 80. Born in Great Harbour, she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Elizabeth (Rose) Harris. Eileen will be sadly missed and forever loved by her children, Lorna (Terry) Dingwell, Carvel, AB, Tom Sheaves (Natalie LeBlanc) Dartmouth, NS and Mary (Vincent) Ford, Paradise, NL, five grandchildren, Lisa (Brent), Stephanie (Greg), Faith, and Hope, Jessica (Zach) great grandchildren, Jaxon, Jace, Lucas, Austin, Hailey and Sawyer, sisters, Flora Harris, Chateauguay, Quebec, and Annie (Hubert) Coombs, Dartmouth, sister-in-law, Jean Harris, Petit-de-Grat, sisters and brothers in laws, Sylvia (Eric) Carew, Bernice Sheaves, Dorcas Sheaves, Aneitha Sheaves, Ruth Fraser, Edith (Bob) Sheppard. She was predeceased by her husband, Wilfred Sheaves,  brothers, Levi Harris, Sandy Harris and sister and brother-in-law,  Mary (Randall) Rose, Joseph Cluett, brothers and sisters-in-laws, Joe Sheaves, Lloyd Sheaves, Fred Sheaves, Clifford Sheaves, Eric(Mary) Sheaves, Bob (Florence) Sheaves, Louis (Madeline) Sheaves and Richard Fraser, as well a large circle of nieces, nephews and friends. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 134 Main Street, Port-aux-Basques on Wednesday, June 29<sup>th, </sup>, from 7-9 PM and Thursday, June 30<sup>th </sup>  from 2-4 & 7-9 PM.The funeral service will take place on Friday, July 1 at 11:00 a.m, at St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Marlene Harvey officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Flowers graciously accepted or donations in memory of Eileen can be made to, Diabetes Association or Heart & Stroke Foundation.
