JOHN A. DINGWELL Corner Brook, NL June 21st, 1943 - January 5th, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late John Dingwell announce his passing on Saturday, January 5th, 2008 at his family residence at the age of 64 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife Theresa, son Gerald (Brandi Hutchings), grandchildren Austin and Jazzmen, sisters and brothers: Gertrude (Gordon) Sharpe, Corner Brook, Jim (Winnie) Dingwell, Corner Brook, Thomas (Margaret) Dingwell, Ontario, Edna Dingwell, St. John’s, Marguerite (Reg) Wallace, Ontario, Mary (Morgan) Johnson, California, Leone (Joe) Bowe, Montreal and Anne Dingwell, Ontario; brothers and sisters-in-law: Marg Dingwell, Ontario, Charles Luther, Buchans, Evelyn Dingwell, Ontario, Rita Dingwell, Ontario, Gloria Dingwell, Calgary, Walter Jr. (Rose) Benoit, Nicholas (Janet) Benoit, Ignatius Benoit, Terrance (Cathy) Benoit, Brian Benoit, Ivan (Gwen) Benoit, Ivy (Ned) Benoit, Sherisse Hall all of Mainland, Sharon (Calvin) LeCoure, Lourdes and Sylvia (Glen) Ryan, Prince Edward Island. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Norman and Ellen Dingwell, sister Monica, brothers Raymond, Norman Jr., Alphonsus and Gerald, parents-in-law Walter and Maggie Benoit, nephews Terry and Nicks Benoit. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Monday from the hours of 7-9 PM visitation will continue at St. Ann’s Roman Catholic Chapel, Mainland starting Tuesday 6:00 PM from where the funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 10th at 2:00 PM with Father Ed Terry officiating. Interment to follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
