MIMA WIGHT Deer Lake, NL July 30, 1916 - January 4, 2008 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mima Wight (nee: Benson) announce her passing at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Centre, Stephenville Crossing on Friday, January 4th, 2008. She was predeceased by her parents Elizabeth and Edward, husband Norman Wight, brothers: Dave and Gehu, and sister Annie Baker. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Elizabeth, Halifax, Norma (Lawrence) Joy, Stephenville Crossing and Brian (Barb) Deer Lake; siblings: Tom (Violet), Hillview, Elizabeth Green, Clarenville and brother-in-law Howard and Eva Wight, Deer Lake. Also leaving to mourn grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Clinic Drive, Deer Lake on Monday between the hours of 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Service will take place from St. Michael’s and All Angels Anglican Church in Deer Lake on Tuesday, January 8th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend John Meade officiating. Interment will follow at the Deer Lake Interdenominational Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
