<p><strong>Wheaton</strong></p> <p><strong>Kathleen C. </strong></p> <p><strong>Corner Brook, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>1921 – 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Kathleen Wheaton announce her passing on Tuesday, May 3, 2016 at Long Term Care, Corner Brook at the age of 95 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her son: Wayne (Gail); granddaughter: Vicki (Brandon) MacDonald; great grandson: Elliot; sisters: Hazel and Loretta; brothers: Gilbert and Lloyd as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Wesley and son: Clarence; sisters: Marjorie and Phyllis; brothers: Mervin, Ray, Burt, and Hayward; parents: Archibald and Bessie Pond. Special thanks to Winsor and Rowena Earle for their kindness to mom. Special thanks to the staff of the fifth floor at Western Memorial Regional Hospital, as well as Dr. JC Westby and the staff of second floor south of Long Term Care. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday, May 5<sup>th</sup>, from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Chapel at St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday, May 6<sup>th</sup>, at 11:00 AM with Reverend Jocelyn Cook officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, no flowers by request. Donations may be made to the Canadian Diabetes Association or a memorial donation may be made to a Charity of One’s Choice.
