<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Walter Caines announce his passing at the Rufus Guinchard Health Centre on Thursday April 14, 2016 at the age of 60 years. He leaves to mourn brothers: Rick (Cynthia), Eugene (Myra), Larry (Wanda); sisters: Elaine, Madonna (Henry), Maureen; special nephew Lorne, special friend Christine, aunts: Marie Koker and Charlotte Caines as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews and his friends at the Crosswinds Seniors Resort. He is predeceased by his parents Rita and Isaac Caines, brother Calvin, sister Denise, brothers-in-law Simon Pittman and Robert Lewis.</p> <p>The family are accepting friends at St. Joseph's RC Church in Port Saunders Friday evening from 7-9 pm. An informal gathering will start at 7:30pm.  His old friends are invited to bring along your musical instruments to play a few of Walters favorite songs and help the family give him a good send off.  A Memorial service will be held on Saturday April 16, 2016 at 10:00 am officiated by Father Raj.  Inurnment will follow at the Interfaith Cemetery in Sandy Cove.</p> <p>Friends may visit the website at www.fillatre.ca to sign the guestbook and leave messages of condolance.  Cremation and arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre Funeral Homes.</p>
