<p align="center"><strong>Ayers</strong></p> <p align="center"><strong>Vera Lillian</strong></p> <p align="center"><strong>Corner Brook, NL</strong></p> <p align="center"><strong>1926 – 2016</strong></p> <p> </p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Vera Ayers announce her passing on Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook in her 90<sup>th</sup> year. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her son: Bruce (Margo Johnson) of Halifax; grandchildren: Brett (MacKenzie) Ayers of Ottawa, Hunter, and Kelsey Ayers of Calgary; great-granddaughter: Lilly Avery Ayers; brother: Clyde (Dorothy) Bonnell, Bell Island; sister-in-law Alma Bonnell, St. John’s; special nieces: Marjorie (Ken) Kendall of Corner Brook, Shirley Stratton of Toronto; nephews: Kurt Bonnell, Jim Hillier, Ed Hillier, and Baxter Hillier of St. John’s; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Eric William Ayers; parents: Harold and Marion Bonnell; sisters: Margaret and Meta; brothers: Ralph and Jim. A special thank you to the staff at Mountainview Estates and Western Memorial Regional Hospital 3<sup>rd</sup> floor. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Saturday, April 16<sup>th</sup>, from 2-4 & 7-9 Pm. Funeral service will take place on Sunday, April 17th, at 2:00 PM  from  The Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street with The Very Reverend Baxter Park officiating. Interment at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As Expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation.
