<p>Passed away peacefully, a living angel&nbsp;with her loving family by her side, Sarah Anne&nbsp;Penney, former school teacher&nbsp;at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook on Sunday, February 28, 2016 at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 62 years, Ronald, who dedicated his&nbsp;life to her; their&nbsp;children: Anne (Clayton) Hopkins, Cletus (Janice ), Rona (Floyd) Brake, Herbert, Grace Davis, Viola (Wayne) Oke, Danny (Noreen), Linda (Andy) Burns and Della Penney, with whom she resided; son-in-law Jim Davis;&nbsp;grandchildren: Pam (Lenny), Cletus (Katrina), Crystal (Steve), James (Jessica),&nbsp;Shane (Holly), C.J., Jerome, Chantal (Victor), Ricky, Angie (Bill),&nbsp;Stephanie (Matt), D.J. (Corey), Evan, Jesse, Danielle, Devon,&nbsp;Jasmine and Lisa; as well as 18&nbsp;great grandchildren; brother: Edward (Celeste) Mitchell; sisters: Carmelita Ward and&nbsp;Rose Mitchell; sisters in-law: Agnes Penney, Laura Lidstone, Geraldine (Anthony) Raynor, Joan (Clifford) House, and Alma Mighton; caregiver: Ramona and special friends: Ralph, Clayton, Lloyd, Betty and Mary, along with a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives, friends and her Bingo friends.&nbsp;She was predeceased by her parents: George and Annie Mitchell; granddaughter: Penny Davis; Parents in- law: Herbert and Gertrude Penney; sisters: Mary (Adrian) Fitzpatrick, Helen (Bernard) Kelly, Elizabeth (William) Barry; brothers-in-law: Cyril Ward, Herbert Penney, Arthur Mighton and Gilbert Lidstone; sisters-in-law: Marjorie (Patrick) Flynn, and Kay (Levi) Smith. The family would like to thank the Emergency Dept., Paramedics, ICU Staff, Dr. Fudge, Dr. Ismail and Dr. Brake for taking wonderful care of her.&nbsp;Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Monday, 7-9 PM, Tuesday and Wednesday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. The Mass of Christian burial will take place on Thursday, March 3<sup>rd</sup> at 10:30 AM from All Hallows Parish Humber Road, with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, Flowers are graciously accepted or donation may be made to Western Memorial Regional Hospital Foundation, HIS Fire Department or&nbsp;to a Charity of One&rsquo;s Choice.
