<p><span>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Joan Elizabeth Rose announce her passing on Wednesday, December 16th, 2015 at the Calder Health Care Centre in Burgeo at the age of 76 years.Leaving to mourn are her daughters Yvonne Durnford and Catherine Fitzpatrick; sons Cyril (Bernice) Rose and Glen (Alexandra) Rose; nine grandchildren and four great grandchildren; brothers Don (Marilyn) Parsons, Bill (Ann) Parsons and Rodney (Yana) Parsons; sister Marjorie (Hayward) Cake; sister-in-law Laura Parsons; as well as a large cirlce of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Wilfred Rose, parents William and Gertrude Parsons, son-in-law Frank Durnford; sisters Lillian and Eileen, brothers Stanley, Cyril and Arthur; father and mother-in-law, George and Eleanor Rose and brother-in-law James Winsor. &nbsp;Friends may visit St. John the Evangelist Church in Burgeo on Friday from 2-4 and 7-9:00 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 19th at 2:00 p.m. with Reverend David Taylor officiating. Interment will follow at the Community Cemetery. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Corner Brook.</span></p>
