<p><span data-mce-mark="1">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Augustus (Gus) Eric Humber announce his passing on Tuesday, December 1, 2015 at his residence in Port Saunders at the age of 80 years. </span></p> <p><span>Gus was born in Norris Point to the late Evangeline and George Humber.  He leaves to mourn, with fond and loving memories,  Daughters: June (Garland) Taylor, Linda (Scott) Taylor, Belinda (Austin) Holloway, and Connie (Ellis) Bartlett; Sons: Fred (Maggie) Humber and Ronald Humber; Brothers:  Hayward (Ivy) Humber, Tom (Kay) Humber; Sisters:  Catherine (Gordon) Laing, Leona (Marvin) Cluney, Edna (Willie) Maynard,  Margaret Laing, Thelma (Manual) Payne, Gladys (Edward) Payne; 10 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren and a large number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. </span></p> <p><span>Gus is predeceased by parents Evangeline and George Humber; Sister, Edith Laing and Brother-in-law, Clarence Laing. </span></p> <p><span data-mce-mark="1">Cremation has taken place and a Memorial Service honoring Gus's life will take place at St John the Devine Anglican Church in Port Saunders on Friday, December 4th 2015 at 11:00 am.   </span></p> <p><span data-mce-mark="1">In lieu of flowers, donations may be made In Memoriam to the Tri-Town Lion's Club RV Park, Port au Choix, NL.  </span></p> <p><span data-mce-mark="1">Friends may sign the guestbook or leave messages of condolance by visiting the website at www.fillatre.ca.  Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home in Port au Choix.</span></p> <p> </p>
