<p align="center"><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Dr. Edward Marcus Swannie</span></span></p> <p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;"> </span></span></p> <p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Dr. Edward Marcus Swannie died on Saturday, September 26, 2015 after working 43 years as a surgeon in Western Newfoundland and Labrador. Mourning him are his wife Marie; sons: Edward Nikolai and William Marcus (Estrella); daughters: Susan Marta Pia (Tom) and Maja Margaret (Greg); as well as grandchildren: Micah Hayes, Cedar Kaj and Pia Electra. A vigil will be held on Tuesday, September 28 @ 10:00 AM at Western Memorial Hospital Chapel where Colleagues and friends can sign a family guest book and offer condolences. Donations can also be given in his honor c/o Western Memorial Hospital Foundation and Fillatre’s Website for any of the diseases associated with Parkinson’s, Kidney Dialysis, deafness or disease of the heart. To celebrate his life his family will organize a golf tournament to show his great love of family and his commitment to them and others. He was a kind and gentle man and will be missed by all whose life he touched. </span></span></p>
