<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Passed away peacefully at her family residence in Corner Brook on Sunday, September 27, 2015 Ruth Pender at the age of 88 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her children: Dorothy Ann, Elizabeth (Clarence), Pierre (Brenda), Michael (Ruby), Catherine (John), Andre, John, and Charles (Nathalie), grandchildren: Erin, Scott, Renee, Patrick, Caitlin, Patrick, Robyn, William, Sandra, Jonathan, Julia, Marie and Thomas, great granddaughter: Aurora, Sister: Molly Fitzpatrick, sisters in-law: Elsie Pendergast , Kay Dicks, and a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: William in 1999, parents Samuel Dicks&nbsp;and Mary Ann Perry,&nbsp;sisters: Rita, Lillian, Marie, Elizabeth, Clarissa, brothers: Bart, Ferdie,&nbsp;George, Charles, David, Gus, Gerald and John. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Monday, September 28<sup>th</sup> 7-9 PM, and Tuesday, September 29<sup>th</sup> at 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. Funeral service will take place on Wednesday, September 30<sup>th</sup> at 2PM from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to Immaculate Heart of Mary School or to a Charity of one&rsquo;s choice.
