Terry announce her sudden passing on Tuesday, September 1, 2015 at her family residence at the age 73 years.  Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Darlene Terry-Payne (Harold), Faye Anderson (Leonard) and Shirley Terry; step-daughter Emma Piercey; sons: Rick Terry (Tracey) and Derek Terry; precious granddaughter Jacey Terry; special furry pud – Tony; sister Olive Ellsworth (Ralph); special cousin and best friend Laverne Byrne; brothers-in-law: Gerard Terry (Mae) and Cyril Terry (Marilyn); sisters-in-law: Josephine Hunt, Jane Clark and Mary "Mame" Hann; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband James "Jim" Terry, July 18, 2015, parents Ensie and Effie Murphy, daughter-in-law Marie Terry, brothers Edward and Rod Murphy, parents-in-law Hughie and Mary Terry, brothers-in-law :  Frank Hunt, Michael Terry, Joseph Clark, Herbert Hann Jr. and Edgar Porter, sisters-in-law Agnes Porter and Isabel Hunt (Dave) and special pup Rusty. Mom dearly loved her family, especially cooking for them and having them around her. She enjoyed her garden, her bingo games, her frequent trips to the city especially with Laverne, Lady, Mya and Tony, the family pets, the RC Parish Ladies Darts League of Irishtown and of late – using her IPAD to connect with family and friends on Facebook. Mom was very supportive of her community and was always there to lend a helping hand. She will be remembered for her kind, caring and generous nature. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Thursday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Friday 2-4 p.m. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 5 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Bay of Islands SPCA.
