<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wayne MacDonald announces his passing on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center with his loving family by his side. He was born in Port-aux-Basques and he was the son of the late John Martin & Emma (Neil) MacDonald of Grand Bruit.  He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his sisters and brothers, Elsie Billard, Port-aux-Basques, Kathleen (Wayne) Francis, LaPoile, Sidney MacDonald, Port-aux-Basques, and George (Evelyn) MacDonald, Port-aux-Basques, sister-in-law, Emily MacDonald, Ramea, nieces and nephews, and a large circle of family and friends.  Wayne was predeceased by his parents, brother, Stephen MacDonald, sister-in-law, Dolores MacDonald, brother-in-law, Harold Billard and nephew, David MacDonald. In keeping with Wayne’s wishes cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 2 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. at Fillatre’s Funeral Home. Family flowers only. Donations in Wayne’s memory may be made to Dr. Charles LeGrow Health Center Foundation or to a charity of one’s choice.
