Passed away peacefully at his family residence on Monday, August 17, 2015, Francis (Frank) Hunt at the age of 88 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 62 years Josephine (nee Terry); daughters: Jean Butler (Ben), Liza Parsons (Bruce), Alice Hunt (Jerry), Carmelita Mathews (John) and Lottie Janes (Randy); son Eric Decker; grandchildren: Angie, Ashley, John, Serena, Pamela, Denise, Jason and Kim; 13 great-grandchildren; Brothers: Ron Sheppard (Irene), Ontario and Kevin Sheppard (Shirley), Nova Scotia; sisters: Marie Green and Lillian Penney; Brothers and sisters-in-law: Cyril Terry (Marilyn), Gerard Terry (Mae), Jane Clark, Mary Hann and Ida Terry, his little furry friend Buddy&; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his daughter Lillian (1982), grandson Donnie, (1984), granddaughter Laura Sheppard, (2003), mother Flossie Christopher, brother Donald Sheppard, sister Alfreda Penney, son-in-law Gerald Sheppard, father & mother-in-law Hughie and Mary Terry, brothers-in-law Jim Terry, Herbert Hann and Joe Clark, sister-in-law Agnes (Edgar) Porter. Frank loved to play his guitar and sing. He also enjoyed getting together for a game of darts and cards. Friends may visit Fillatre Funeral Home, 4 St. Marks Avenue on Tuesday & Wednesday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, August 20 at 10:30 a.m. from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Autism Society.
