<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Stephen Joseph Butler of Pasadena, formerly of Kippens, passed away on July 20, 2015. Born March 3, 1939 in Winterhouse, NL, he was the son of the late Michael and Marcella Butler. Stephen was a proud member of the Iron Workers Local 764 for 44 years. He was predeceased by his mother (1942), father (2001), step mother Esther (2009), brother Michael (1996) and sister Esther (2006). He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years Sandra (nee Smith); sons: Stephen (Denage) and his children Tyler and Matthew; Bryan (Mandi) and their children Cydnie, Logan, Alysa and Michael; daughter Nancy Pichers (Ryan) and their children Kira and Alexandria; brother Peter (Gladys) of Port au Port; sisters: Margaret Harviloson (Mike) of Pennsylvania, Bride Montoya (Bob) of Nevada, Mary Quinlan (Ray) of Holyrood, Carolyn Cain (Ken) of Oklahoma and Christine Butler (Albert) of Alberta; mother-in-law Mary Smith of Pasadena; sisters-in-law Hilda Hicks (David), Susan Batstone (David) and Ruth Butler; brother-in-law Wayne Smith (Elsie); aunt Theresa Caines and very special cousins Robert and Noreen Warren; as well as a loving circle of family and friends. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Thursday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 24 at 2:00 p.m. from St. David of Wales Anglican Church in Pasadena with Catechist Mario Melendez officiating. Cremation to follow with a private burial at a later date. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the War Amps 1 Maybrook Drive, Scarborough, Ont.
