<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mary Murphy announce her sudden passing at Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 83 years. Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her daughters: Darryl, of Steady Brook, Karen, Diane (Derek) Johnson of Corner Brook, sisters: Helen Fitzgerald and Vera Hearn of Corner Brook, brother-in - law: Peter Murphy, and a circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband: Walter, parents: James (Lucy) Hearn, brother-in-law Ron Fitzgerald and uncle: George Fitzpatrick. Mary was a volunteer with the Silver Blade Figure Skating Club for many years. She retired after working as a secretary for 42 years with the RCMP. A special thank you to the nurses on 4A, ICU and to Dr. Stephen Murphy for the great care of mom during her short &nbsp;at the hospital. Visitation will take place from Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home 4 St. Marks Avenue on Monday June 22 from, 2-4 &amp; 7-9 PM. Mass of Christian burial will take place from Cathedral of Most Holy Redeemer Mount Bernard Avenue on Tuesday June 23, at 10:30 AM with Father Edward Terry officiating with interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery.
