<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Thelma Beatrice Roberts announce her passing on Thursday, June 4, 2015 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care Facility at the age of 88 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her daughters: Linda Roberts and Sharon (David) Little; grandchildren: Desmond MacDonald, Dr. Yvonne MacDonald (Robert Carter), Jason Hounsell (Nam Singh) and Trina Clarke (David); great-grandchildren: Taylor, Brandon, Megan, Nathan, Kaylee, Elliott, Ophelia and Emerson; brothers and sisters: Donald Oldford (Olive), Constance Brewer (Arch &ndash; deceased), Enid Erskine (Ian &ndash; deceased) and Heber Oldford (Hazel); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Woodrow Roberts, parents Ernest and Paulina Oldford, sisters Muriel Arman (Leo) and Meta Oldford and brother Ralph Oldford. Thelma enjoyed her work with the Western Memorial Regional Hospital Food Service Department for 15 years. A special thanks to Karen and Lloyd Mercer, Nick and Mary Tobin for being so kind to her over the years. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, June 6 at 2:00 p.m. from the Cathedral of St. John the Evangelist, Main Street with the Very Rev. Baxter Park officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Alzheimer Society.
