She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 55 years Tom Brown; children: Elizabeth Brown, Douglas (Serena) and Lynda (Austin Bugden); beloved granddaughter Sophia Brown and special grandson Rhys Bugden; sister June Sansome; sisters-in-law: Deirdre Cirino and Ann Thistle; brother-in-law David (Sylvia) Brown; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents James and Sarah Hutchings, brothers Kevin and Robert (Marjorie) Hutchings. Florence was a long time member of the Corner Brook Lodge Order of the Royal Purple #330. Cremation has taken place at the family’s request. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark’s Avenue on Friday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Saturday, May 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Fillatre’s Funeral Home Chapel, St. Mark’s Avenue with Majors Ron & Joyce Stuckless officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Society.
