GEORGE’S, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>MARCH 30, 1920 - FEBRUARY 6, 2015</strong></p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">Passed away peacefully surrounded by family and friends who loved and cared for her, Florence Violet Parsons at the Bay St. George Long Term Care Center, Stephenville Crossing, NL on Friday, February 6, 2015 at the age of 94 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sisters: Lill Butler, Amy Martin; nephew Bill Martin of Highlands; step-daughter Goldie (Charlie) Hollett; step-sons: Donald (Sandra) Parsons, Wayne (Helen) Parsons, Garry (Kay) Parsons; many grandchildren, great-grandchildren as well as nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Gordon; parents Reginald & Amelia Berry; brothers: Leslie, Percy, Raymond, Elwin, Max; sisters: Cedella and Dulcie. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Sunday, February 8, 2015 from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. and Monday, February 9, 2015 from 2:00 - 4:00 & 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s, NL on Tuesday, February 10, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Nick Griffith officiating. Interment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery in Stephenville Crossing.
