<p><span style="font-family: Times New Roman;">Passed peacefully away on Saturday, January 31, 2015 in the presence of her loving family members and her closest friends, Elizabeth (Betty) Louise Kendall, age 82 years. Predeceased by her loving husband, Henry. Betty leaves to mourn and to celebrate her life her daughter Colleen Louise (Pat McKeown) of Kamloops, BC; her sons Ken (Marjorie) of Corner Brook; Tom of St. John&rsquo;s; David (Karen Rose) of St. John&rsquo;s; grandchildren Stephanie, Janice, Steven, Rebecca, Josh, and Aaron; great grandchildren Evan and Scott; sister Helma Day of Corner Brook, brothers Clifford Pretty and Harold (Bride) Pretty of Corner Brook and Reginald Pretty of Sarnia Ontario; brothers-in-law George Kendall of Corner Brook, Montford Kendall of Prescott, Ontario, sisters-in-law Margaret Skinner of North Sydney and Edith Lilly of St. John&rsquo;s; special friend Cheryl Power and Glenda Swyers Kendall, and a large circle of friends and acquaintances.&nbsp; Preceded in death by her parents Jack and Mary Pretty, her sister Annie, and brothers George, Thomas, William, Verdun, and Jack. Friends are welcome to come visit Betty and to celebrate her life on Sunday February 1<sup>st</sup> from 2-4PM and 7-9 PM at Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue.&nbsp; The funeral services shall be held on Monday 2<sup>nd</sup> February 2015 at 2PM at the Cathedral of St. John&rsquo;s the Evangelist, Main Street with the Very Reverend Baxter Park officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the ALS Society of Newfoundland or the Cathedral of St. John&rsquo;s the Evangelist Restoration Fund. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation made through the Fillatre website www.fillatre.ca.</span></p>
