WILFRED THOMAS BENOIT STEPHENVILLE CROSSING, NL JULY 9, 1924 - NOVEMBER 14, 2007 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Wilfred Thomas Benoit announce his passing on Wednesday, November 14, 2007 at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital in Stephenville at the age of 83 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his children: Wilfred Jr. (Lillian) Bennett, Bradford, ON; Janet (Donald) Batson, Labrador City; Roseanne (Bert) Grandy, Port Coquitlam, BC; Margurite (Larry) Wells, Port Coquitlam, BC; Raphael (Jenny) Bennett, Bradford, ON; Bernice (Richard) Doucette, Orangeville, ON; Jerona (Glenn) Bennett Samms, Mount Pearl, 17 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren, 1 great-great grandchild, as well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife Theresa Bennett and daughter Mary Roberta Davis. The family will be receiving friends at Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Friday from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will take place on Saturday, November 17, 2007 at 10:30 a.m. from Assumption Parish, Stephenville Crossing with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment will follow at the Roman Catholic Cemetery, Brook Street, Stephenville Crossing.
