<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late William Richard Halfyard announce his passing on Sunday, January 25, 2015 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 61 years Emma Maxine (nee Hann); children: Gordon Halfyard (Cathy), Brian Halfyard (Cindy), Karen Jennings (Allan) and Anna Marie McCarthy (Sean); grandchildren: Timothy, Robyn, Alison, Jordan, Kristopher, Samantha, Juliah, Sarah, Liam and Emma; one great-grandson Spencer; brothers: Frederick Halfyard and David Halfyard (Sheila); sisters and brothers-in-law: Eliza Hann, Ormsby Hann, Joan Maynard (George), Jim Hann (Hazel), Marie Walbourne, Fern Wheeler (Daniel), Victor Hann (Nancy), Eileen Hann (Lawrence Parsons) and Marcie Porter (Tex); as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Edgar and Sarah Halfyard, brother Gordon Halfyard, parents-in-law William and Jessie Hann; sister-in-law Jean Brake, brothers-in-law Brazil Hann and Franklin Hann. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Thursday, January 29 at 2:00 p.m. from First Pentecostal Church, Premier Drive with Pastor Larry Soper officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice.
