<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;"><span style="font-size: medium;">Rex passed away peacefully on Thursday, January 15, 2015&nbsp;surrounded by family. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 58 years, Edith (nee Gale), his son Rodney (Melinda), and daughter Madonna (Carlos). Rex also leaves his grandchildren Christopher (Tyler), Zabrina (James), Tristan, Duncan, and Nathan; great-grandchildren Nathaniel, Marie, and Jaxon; sister Onea Murley; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other family &amp; friends. Rex is predeceased by his parents Lena and Alfred Snooks; brothers Wilfred, Ronald, and Melvin; sisters Beatrice Crowther, Ethel Sparkes, and Vivian Langdon; and mother and father in-law Sarah and William Gale. A special thank you to his nieces Michelle Francis and Karen Donahue, and friend Laura Whitehorne for the compassion and friendship shown to Dad in his final months. Cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Thursday, July 30 from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 31, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling Street with Rev. Rosemarie Payne officiating. Interment to follow at Mount Patricia Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of one's choice.
