BAKER Edith May Jan. 21, 1921 - Oct. 11, 2005 Deer Lake, NL It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith May Baker announce her passing on Tuesday, October 11th, 2005 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital, Corner Brook, at the age of 93 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: her husband Nicholas, children: Nellie (Bob) George, Everett (Janet) Baker, Eric (Augusta) Baker, Valerie (David) Thorne, John (Glenda) Baker, Robert (Gertrude) Baker, Irene (Ivan) Butler, Barry (Mary) Baker, adopted daughter Hannah (Darryl) Anstey, 31 grandchildren, 41 great-grandchildren and 15 great-great-grandchildren; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her daughter Emma George, grandchildren: Sharon George, Donna Bell Baker, Beulah Everett (Thorne) and great-granddaughters Sabrina Baker and Alexandria Baker. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 10 Clinic Drive, Deer Lake, Thursday from the hours of 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Friday, October 14th at 2:00 p.m. from the Emmanuel Pentecostal Church with Pastor Terry Snow officiating.
