GEORGE’S, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>MAY 16, 1947 - DECEMBER 20, 2014</strong></p> <p> </p> <p><span style="font-family: Arial;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mildred Elizabeth Young announce her passing at her family home in St. George’s, NL on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at the age of 67 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her children Deanna Young (Trevor Holden), David Young (Renee Collins), Marlene Young; grandson Jamie Stone (Toni Parsons); brothers: Richard Stone, David Stone; sisters: Barbara Hickling (Gord), Lorraine (Brian) Nash as well as many nieces, nephews, other family and friends. She was predeceased by her ex-husband Joseph Young; parents George & Annie Stone; son George Stone; brothers: Ben Stone, Edward Stone; sister Kathleen Janes. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Tuesday, December 23, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the visitation at the Humber Valley Crematorium. The funeral service will take place from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church, St. George’s, NL on Friday, December 26, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Nick Griffith officiating. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to The Heart and Stroke Foundation or The Canadian Diabetic Association. </span><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN"> Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing. </span></span></p> <p>.</p>
