<p><strong><span style="font-family: Arial;"><span lang="EN">WINNIFRED BERNICE HARRIS</span></span></strong></p> <p><strong>HEATHERTON, NL</strong></p> <p><strong>MARCH 17, 1929 - DECEMBER 21, 2014</strong></p> <p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Winnifred (Bernice) Harris announce her passing at Sir Thomas Roddick Hospital, Stephenville on Sunday, December 21, 2014 at the age of 85 years. Left to mourn with fond and loving memories are her sons: Perry Harris, Jack (Claudia) Harris; daughters: Winnie Mahoney, Violet (Art) Harris, Millie Harris (Luke Frawley), Marjorie Parsons; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; sisters: Thirza Hulan, Dora Hutchings, Nina Hulan as well as other family and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Peter Harris; parents: George and Maude Brown; sons: Eric & Percy Harris and her brothers & sisters. Visitation will take place from Fillatre’s Funeral Home, West Street, Stephenville Crossing on Monday, December 22, 2014 from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. Cremation will take place following the visitation at the Humber Valley Crematorium. The funeral service will take place from St. George’s Anglican Church, Robinsons on Saturday, December 27, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Father Nick Griffith officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Anglican Cemetery, Robinsons. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</p>
