<p>Frederick Walter Pittman passed peacefully away surrounded by his loving family and friends on October 14<sup>th</sup> 2014 at the Bonne Bay Health Center at the age of 83 after a lengthy illness. Left to mourn his loving wife of 62 years, Doris, children: Wayne (Lillian), Gary (Helen), Gloria (Verick), Sheila (Greg), Cynthia (Bernie), Malcolm (Marcella), Denise (Whyman), 14 grandchildren: Paul, Darren, Mark, Erika, Glenn, Brent, Charlene, Colin, Benjamin, Jeremie, Chad, Jennifer, Heather, Sarah, 10 great grandchildren: Sidney, Graham, Hailey, Logan, Taryn, Marshall, Benjamin, Mackenzie, Brady, Shayne, Paisley, Dalia, 6 brothers: Roland, Stan (Verna), Ches (Irene), Roy (Nancy), Max (Nellie), Dave (Yvonne), 2 sisters: Marjorie (Borris), Barbara (Churchill), daughter-in-law, Karole, and special friends, Stan, Shirley, Justin and Jennifer, as well as a large circle of caring nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. He was predeceased by his parents, Mary and Walter Pittman, brothers: John, Augustus, Sidney, sister, Myrtle, granddaughter, Nicole and grandson, Baby Knott. An open visitation will be held at St. Matthews Anglican Church in Rocky Harbour on Thursday, October 16<sup>th</sup> from where the funeral service will be held on Friday, October 17<sup>th</sup>, 2014 at 2 PM with Cannon Louise Richards officiating.&nbsp; As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Matthews Memorial Fund or the Canadian Cancer Society.</p>
