<p align="center"><br />Passed away peacefully at Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre on Wednesday, October 1, 2014, Ruth Edwards&nbsp;in her 89<sup>th</sup> year. She was the daughter of the late Ward and Rose (nee Anderson) Harris. She leaves to mourn with fond and precious memories her children, sons: Wayne (Daphne), Gerald (Maxine), Rick (Wanda); daughters: Linda Horwood (George), Pauline Kearley (Randy); 8 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren and one great greatgranddaughter, brother, John Harris (Jessie); sisters, Katherine Fiander, Nora Harris, Jean Graham and Lena Symes, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband, Joseph Edwards, twins sons: Barry and Gary, brother, Reginald Harris and sister, Mariha Hickey. Visitation will be held in St. Michael&rsquo;s Anglican Church, Rose Blanche on Friday and Saturday. Funeral service will be held on Sunday, October 5 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Michael&rsquo;s Anglican Church with Rev.Jeffery Petten officiating. Funeral arrangements were entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Port-aux-Basques. Words of comfort may be sent to the family by visiting www.fillatre.ca.</p>
