HOSKING Edward Charles Leslie St. David's, NL 1920 - 2005 It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edward Hosking announce his passing at his family residence, St. David's on Wednesday, September 7th, 2005 at the age of 85 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories: son David (Sally), Plymouth, England; brother Godfrey, Plymouth, England; grand-daughter Louise (Jonathan) Sandell, Reading, England; grandson James Hosking, London, England; great-grand-daughter Lily Sandell, Reading, England; niece Sharon (Roy) Piccott, St. David's; brother-in-law Noah (Florence) Gillam, St. David's; sisters-in-law Hilda Palmer, Musquodoboit Harbour, NS and Ida (Mitch) Mitchel, Picton, ON; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. He is predeceased by wife Mabel and by parents James and Mary. Visitation for friends will be held on Friday, September 23rd from 10:00-12 noon at St. Michael and All Angels Anglican Church in St. David's, from where the funeral service will take place at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Stewart Bellows officiating. Interment will follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the St. Michael & All Angels Anglican Church Memorial Fund or to a charity of one's choice.
