It is with great sadness that the family of the late Blanche Hoddinott announce her passing on Sunday, November 4th, 2007 at the Charles S. Curtis Memorial Hospital, St. Anthony at the age of 73 years. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband Ralph, sons: Gary (May), Thunder Bay, Ont., Edwin (Hilda), Anchor Point, David (Valerie), Northern Arm, Botwood, Danny (Janice), North Carolina and Merrill (Fanny Marie), St. John’s; grandchildren: Andy, Michael, Katrina, Joshua, Blair, Terri and Tonya, sisters and brothers: Greta (Jim) Roberts, St. John’s, Rose (George) Reid, Coley’s Point, Vina Newhook, St. John’s, Jean (Lawrence) Noseworthy, Cyril (Muriel) Bessey, Hector Bessey all of Happy Valley-Goose Bay, James (Sophia) Bessey, Cape Onion, Boyce (Louise) Bessey, Happy Valley-Goose Bay and Vira (Gerry), St. John’s. As well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her parents Charles and Bessie Ann Bessey, sister Alma Eddison and brother-in-law Aquilla Eddison. Friends may visit Evangel Pentecostal Church, Brig Bay on Monday and Tuesday from where the funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 7th at 2:00 PM with Pastor Bill Cole officiating. Interment to follow at the Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Port au Choix.
