She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories her husband of 48 years Frank Seaward, Irishtown; son Stewart Seaward (Lawrence Taylor), Rome, Italy; sisters: Sharon Payne (Valzie McLean), Gillams and Katrina (Brian) Basha, Curling; nieces: Nadine and Olivia Basha; as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends. She was predeceased by her parents Stewart and Reda Payne and baby sister Inez Payne. Cremation has taken place at Humber Valley Crematorium. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 6 at 2:00 p.m. from St. Mary the Virgin Anglican Church in Curling with Rev. Rosemarie Payne officiating. As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the Liver Foundation.
