It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Eric on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at Charles LeGrow Health Center. Born in Rencounter West, he was the son of the late John Matt and Olive Catherine (Skinner) Durnford. He will be mourn by son, Merrill, granddaughter, Linda (Darryl) Rose, great-grandchildren, Joshua and Jenna, sister Eva. He was predeceased by his parents, wife Charlotte, sisters Ada, Julia, Ida, brother Fred, daughter-in-law, Ida. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fillatre Funeral Home, where visitation will be held on Monday, August 18, 2014 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, August 19  at 2:00 PM from St. James Anglican Church with Rev. Billard officiating. Interment to follow in St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. Donations in Eric’s memory may be made to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
