<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Desmond Francis MacArthur announce his passing at Rufus Guinchard Health Centre, Port Saunders on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the age of 64 years.  He leaves to mourn his wife Sybil; sons Desmond (Kimberlee), Jason (Leann), David (Donna); daughters Janet (Dennis), Dinah (William); 14 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; brothers Allen (Joan), Blaine, Brendan (Lydwena); sisters Carina (Danny), Helena (Greg), Lydwine; mother-in-law Aurelia McLean; brothers-in-law Roland (Joyce), Lambert (Helen), Primus (Pearl), Leslie (Penny), Michael, John; sisters-in-law Hazareth (George), Rosie (Colby), Shirley (Dylan), Irene (Harold), Lousie (Pat), and a large number of family and friends.  He is pre-deceased by his parents Frank and Margaret MacArthur, brother Quinton, father-in-law Raymond McLean and sisters-in-law Sarah and Augustine.</p> <p> Desmond was a big part of the Lions Club at the Twin Towns branch, Port au Choix. </p> <p> Visitation will take place at St. Theresa's Roman Catholic Church, Port au Choix on Thursday, August 14th starting at 7:00 P.M., also Friday, Saturday and Sunday, 2 - 9 P.M.</p> <p>The funeral will take place Monday, August 18, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. with internment at the Interfaith Cemetery, Sandy Cove;  Father Gabriel Selvanathan presiding.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.</p>
