<p>It is with great loss and&nbsp;sadness that the family of the late Mary Scanlon &nbsp;announce her passing on July 17th at Rufus Guinchard Hospital in Port Saunders, after a lengthly illness.&nbsp; She leaves to mourn&nbsp;husband Brian Sr;&nbsp;&nbsp; children: Brian Jr (Iris) and&nbsp;Violet; sisters and brothers: Hazel (Mike) Tatchell, Doris (Bob) Hutchings, Hilda (Lorne) Penney, Vina (Stephen) Salkeld,&nbsp;Claire (Tex) Hynes, Neila, Jessie (Calvin) Taylor, Beatrice (James) Caines, Ivan(Marti), Ike (Glenda), Sandy (Elva), Roy (Tina), and Kerry (Shannon).&nbsp; Also leaves to mourn daughter-in-law Rachel, grandchildren: Quinn (Mindy), Morgan (Stephanie), Russell, Ryland, Leah, Mackenzie; nieces, nephews, and a large extended family.&nbsp; Predeceased by son Barry, sister Joyce, parents, Mabel and Sandy Newcombe. Funeral service was held at St. Anne's Roman Catholic Church, Castors River North, Saturday, July 19, 2014.&nbsp; Father Gabriel Selvanathan presided.&nbsp; The service was entrusted to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Port au Choix.&nbsp; Date of interment to be determined.</p>
