<p style="text-align: left;"><strong>Blackmore, Brainard Henry</strong>-68, It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Brainard on Thursday, July 17 at home. Born in Port -aux-Basques, he was the son of the late George and Mary (Clevett) Blackmore. He will be lovingly remembered and never forgotten by sons, Robert (Karen), Jim (Wanda Lee), Shane (Toni Lynn), Travis and daughter, Amanda Blackmore, brothers and sisters, George, Gerald, Jim, Eileen, Esther, Judy; grandchildren, Robert, Elaine, Desmond, Brock, Destinee, Dustin, Danielle, Denver, Lucas, Billie, Brady,&nbsp; Gordon and Brian. He was predeceased by his parents, brother, Richard and Lillian. Funeral arrangements are under the care of Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, where visitation was held on Friday, July 18 from 7-9 p.m. and on Saturday, July 19 from 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. A funeral service was held on Monday, July 21 at 11:00 a.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Catechist Catherine Short officiating. Interment to follow at St. James Anglican Cemetery, Barachois Hill. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
