It is with great sadness that the family of the late John William Walter Wells announce his passing on Wednesday, September 15, 2004 at the Health Sciences Centre in St. John's, after a brief illness, at the age of 82 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his brothers, Hector (Irene), Carlyle and Robert (Sylvia), sister-in-law Elizabeth and brother-in-law Herb Badcock, as well as a large circle of great nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was much beloved Uncle Jack of Paula, Robert, Cathy, Lisa, Richard, Catherine and Martha. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Ada, brother, Richard, and sister Cynthia. At John's request cremation has taken place. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark's Avenue, Friday from 7-9 p.m., from where a private family memorial service will be held on Saturday, Stepember 18th, at 2:00 p.m., Rev. Wayne M. Cole officiating. Interment will follow at the United Church Cemetery, Townsite. As expressions of sympathy, flowers graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
