It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of MARTHA LILLY on Monday September 12th, 2005 at Brakes Personal Care Home in her 84th year. She will be sadly missed by Vivian & Vera Brake and family, residents of Brakes Personal Care Home and many friends, sister-in-law Winetta Lilly of Port Aux Basques, four nephews and five nieces. She was predeceased by parents John & Martha Lilly, foster parents John & Emily Knott, brothers John & Leonard. The funeral service will be held Wednesday, September 14th at 2:30 p.m. from St. Mary's Anglican Church, Curling Street Reverend John Hounsell - Drover officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted or memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.
