<p align="center">Emma <strong>Louise</strong> Staples</p> <p align="center">(Nee: Roberts)</p> <p align="center">Oct. 26, 1937 – May 21, 2014</p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p> </p> <p>Passed peacefully away on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 at the Corner Brook Long Term Care, Emma <strong>Louise</strong> Staples  in her 76<sup>th</sup> year. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband of 53 years Sylvester; children: Joanne Tobin (Derek), Lisa Long (Doug), Glenn (Reneé); grandchildren: Julia, Krista, Kate and Jacob; step-grandchildren: Bob, Steven, Michael, Patrick and Blake; Step-great-grandchild: Matthew; sisters: Betty (Eddie), Ellen, Sophie (Joe), Linda (Marcus) Nada (Steve); brothers: Steve (June), Ed, Max (Linda), Albert (Marg), Wayne, Randy (Mary); sister-in-law Helen Haché, as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her father Randolph Roberts, brother Edgar, mother Lucy Noseworthy (Heath), stepfather Albert Noseworthy, brothers-in-law: Gordon Staples, Larry Smith, Roger Haché. In keeping with her wishes, cremation has taken place. Visitation will be held Friday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at Fillatre’s Funeral Home 218 Curling Street. The funeral service will be held Saturday, May 24<sup>th</sup> at 2:00 pm from Memorial United Church, Curling Street with Pastor Wendy Lowden officiating.
