<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late James Lidstone announce his passing on Sunday, April 20, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 72 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 41 years Vera (nee Parsons); children: Kim Lidstone, Jason Lidstone, Joseph Lidstone (Christine) and Evelyn Parsons; grandsons: Ashton and Gavin; sisters: Valda (Douglas) Wiseman and June (Gerry) Smith; sister-in-law Laura Lidstone; as well as a large circle of sisters and brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his parents Joseph and Alice Lidstone, sister Audrey, brothers Gilbert, Clarence and Calvin. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, 4 St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue on Tuesday from the hours of 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will he held on Wednesday, April 23 at 2:00 p.m. from Humber United Church, Clarence Street, Rev. Clayton Parsons officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to the Palliative Care Unit, WMRH. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</span></span></p>
