<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edgar (Uncle Ted) Andersen announce his passing on April 6 at St. Anthony at the age 83 years. He will be sadly missed by his family and his many friends. Uncle Ted as he was known, was a big part of Makkoviak the community he dearly loved. He served some 30 plus years on community council, one term as mayor and was co founder of the combined councils of Labrador. His death is not only a great loss for Makkoviak but a great loss for Labrador as a whole.</p>
