JUANITA ELIZABETH BENNETT (NEE: BRAKE) ST. GEORGE’S, NL MARCH 10, 1926 - OCTOBER 16, 2007 Passed away peacefully at the family residence in St. George’s on Tuesday, October 16th, 2007 Juanita Elizabeth Bennett in her 82nd year. She leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories daughters: Marjorie (Cyril) King, Brenda (Percy Jr.) Young, Goretti (James) Downey, Halifax, Daphne, Geneva (Kevin) Dunphy; sons: Jerome (Linda), Mark (Bridget), Aloysius, George (Leona), Brian (Gloria), Adrian (Martha), Vincent, Theodore (Angela); 17 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren; sisters: Christina (Peter) McKay, Genevieve Prince, Bridget Cormier; brother Roy (Marion) Brake, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. She was predeceased by her husband Nolan and children: Mary and Andrew; brothers: Harry, Edward, Mike, Robert; sisters: Philomena, Gladys and Henrietta. Friends may visit St. Joseph’s Roman Catholic Church in St. George’s on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. and on Thursday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m., from where the funeral mass will take place on Friday, October 19th at 10:00 a.m. with Father Gerard Patry officiating. Interment to follow in the Shallop Cove Roman Catholic Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers are graciously accepted. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre’s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.
