Born at Grand Bruit, Harold was the son of the late Angus and Winnie (Riles) Billard. Predeceased by in laws John and Emma Mac Donald, Sandy Billard, Stephen (Bud) Mac Donald, Delores MacDonald. He leaves to mourn his wife Elsie (MacDonald) of 54 years, daughter Geraldine,   and  son Kevin of Port Aux Basque, granddaughter  Melissa (Lisa) Pouch Cove, Sister Theresa  Billard, brother Joe Billard Burgeo,  Brothers  in law Wayne Mac Donald, Sidney Mac Donald, George ( Evelyn Mac Donald, Port Aux Basque, sisters in law Kathleen (Wayne) Francis, LaPoile, Emily Mac Donald Ramea, and a large circle of nieces, nephews , cousins, other relatives and friends. The family received friends from Fillatre Funeral Home Port Aux Basque on Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9. Funeral service took place on Thursday at 2PM from Wesley United Church with interment to follow at the Wesley United Church Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers were gracious accepted.
