<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">Everett was the oldest of eight children born to William and Gertrude Squires in Corner Brook, NL.&nbsp; Everett worked at Clarke Steamship from 1953 until 1968 as pier superintendent.&nbsp; In 1968 he moved to Stephenville as Plant Manager for Atlantic Design Homes.&nbsp; He retired in 1993.&nbsp; Everett was very active in his church serving on several church boards for 12 years.&nbsp; He loved his cottage on the lake and hunting &amp; fishing.&nbsp; He leaves behind his wife of 60 years Marina; daughters:&nbsp; Pauline (Paul) Sinclair, Lindsay, ON, Sandra (Paul) McCabe, Truro, NS, Carol (Perry) Bennett, Stephenville; grandchildren:&nbsp; Alex Thorne, Geoffrey (Tara) McCabe, Vanessa (Craig) Conran; great-grandchildren:&nbsp; Teagan McCabe, Eric Conran; brothers:&nbsp; Elmer (Pansy), Melvin (Rae), David (Betty), Dale (Sue), Wayne; sisters:&nbsp; Faye Simmonds, Hope (Ivan) White as well as a large number of nieces, nephews and other family members and friends.&nbsp; Visitation will take place from Zion Pentecostal Church, Stephenville on Thursday, March 6, 2014 from 4 &ndash; 7 p.m. from where the funeral service will take place on Friday, March 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Moral Bess officiating.&nbsp; Interment will take place following the service in Hillside Interfaith Cemetery, Stephenville.&nbsp; As expressions of sympathy donations may be made to a charity of ones choice.&nbsp; Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Stephenville Crossing.</span></p>
