<p><span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Maxwell Gillam announce his passing on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at the Dr. Charles L. LeGrow Health Centre at the age of 79 years, after a brief illness. Max was predeceased by his parents Llewellyn and Florence and sister Maria. He leaves to mourn his sisters: Olive Connors, Louise Clarke and Bernice (Saul) Osmond; sister-in-law Donna; brothers: Ivan (Ann), Arthur and Stanley. He will be sadly missed by his many nieces, nephews other relatives and a large circle of friends especially his card buddies at the Royal Canadian Legion. Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques on Sunday and Monday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. The funeral service will be held on Tuesday, February 18 at 2:00 p.m. from St. James Anglican Church, Rev. Canon Hannah Dicks officiating, followed by interment at St. James Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy in lieu of flowers donations may be made to a charity of one&rsquo;s choice. Funeral arrangements entrusted to Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home, Port Aux Basques. The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</span></span></p>
