Passed peacefully away in his 86th year at his home on September 1, 2005 surrounded by his loving family. Din Bruce will be forever missed but not forgotten for his hospitality, kindness, and most of all his sense of humor and love of life. Leaving to mourn with many beautiful memories are his loving and devoted wife Camille(Roche) and his six eternally grateful children - Denise, Sheila Norman (Jim), Dave (Marilyn), Leo (Debbie), Anne Tibbo (Bruce) and Dennis (Sandra). Din's most treasured possessions were his fourteen grandchildren whom he dearly loved - Robert, Natasha, Alanna, Stephen, Adam, Nicholas, Aileen, Susan, Michael, Matthew, Erin, Daniel, Andrew and Laura. Equally saddened are his sisters Kitti (Pat) (Bruce), Alice (Pat) Kelly and his brother James. Also leaving to mourn are numerous other relatives, friends and wonderful neighbors from Allen's Road. Din was predeceased by his parents James and Martha, his sister Suse and his brothers Maurice, Michael and Thomas. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, September 3rd at 10:30 a.m. from Sacred Heart Church, Curling Street Father Bernard officiating followed by the interment at Mt. Patricia Cemetery. Friends may visit Fillatre's Funeral Home 218 Curling Street Thursday from 8-9 p.m. Friday from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. As expressions of sympathy, in lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Cancer Society Western Unit.
