<p>It is with great sadness that the family of the late Lawrence Cabot announce his passing on January 29, 2014&nbsp;at his residence in Goose Bay at the age of 79 years. He will be sadly missed by his children,&nbsp;Larry (Tamaica) Cabot, and Monica (Jeff) Curl,&nbsp;five grandchildren&nbsp;and&nbsp;five great-grandchildren, as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Josephine, brothers: George and&nbsp;Patrick, sisters, Irene, Beatrice, and&nbsp;Genieve. Friends may visit&nbsp;Our Lady of Labrador&nbsp;R. C. Church in West St. Modeste on Friday, January 31&nbsp; from where the funeral service will take place on Saturday, February 1st at 2:00 p.m. with interment to follow in the church cemetery. As expressions of sympathy, donations may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation. Funeral arrangements are entrused to Fillatre's Funeral Home, Happy Valley-Goose Bay.
