Connolly announce his passing on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at the Western Memorial Regional Hospital in Corner Brook at the age of 68 years. He leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories his wife of 36 years Dianne (Gilbert); children: Tammy (Corey), Alanda (Justin) and Stephen (Tina); grandchildren: Braden, Connor, Bella and Reghan, father Captain Anthony Connolly; sisters: Marie (Neil), Leona, Sandra, Mary (Dave) and Gertie (Paul); brothers: Don and Brian (Leona); brothers and sisters-in-law: Morris (Kathy), Karl (Glenda), Barb (Dennis) and Donna (Martin); his fur babies Bailey and Wiser; as well as a large circle of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Della, brother John and sister Regina. Friends may visit Fillatre’s Funeral Home, 218 Curling Street on Saturday from the hours of 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Visitation will continue at St. James Anglican Church in Lark Harbour on Sunday 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. from where the funeral service will be held on Monday, January 20 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Nelson Chatman officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Cemetery. As expressions of sympathy flowers graciously accepted or donations may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
