<p><span style="font-family: Calibri;">It is with great sadness that the family of the late Mae Irene Barry announce her passing on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at Western Memorial Regional Hospital at the age of 79 years after a short and courageous battle with cancer.&nbsp;&nbsp; Leaving to mourn with fond and loving memories are her seven children: Laura (Dave) Walbourne, Peter Barry, Gord (Lana) Barry, Regina (Stirling) Hann, Robert (Janice) Barry, Marie (John) Campbell and Steven (Terri-Lynn) Barry;&nbsp; grandchildren Tracy (Jason) Baker, Stephanie (Eddy) Park, Wayne Hann, Jon-Michael Barry, Adam, (Wanda Lee) Christopher Barry,(Melissa) Jonathan Campbell, Rhianna Barry, Angela Campbell, Shae Lynn Barry, Olivia Barry, and Tyson Barry; great grandchildren Ethan Barry, Carson Baker, and Alexander Barry; brother Gordon (Nettie) Peckford (Gander); sisters Joan (Harold) Collins, (St. John&rsquo;s), Regina (Bob) Woody, (Maryland, USA) Ada Ralph, (Gander); sister in law Madeleine (William) Brake (Corner Brook) as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.&nbsp;&nbsp; Mae was predeceased by her husband, John Michael Barry (1986) and by her parents Joseph and Katie Peckford, brother Edwin Peckford, all from Clarke&rsquo;s Head, Gander Bay, brother in law Don Ralph (Gander) and baby sister Maureen, 9 months, father and mother-in-law Peter and Madge Barry.&nbsp; Friends may visit Fillatre&rsquo;s Funeral Home on St. Mark&rsquo;s Avenue Thursday 2-4 &amp; 7-9 p.m. and Friday 10-12 noon. The funeral services will be held on Friday, January 10 at 2:00 p.m. &nbsp;from All Hallows Parish, Humber Road with Father Edward Terry and Father Edwin Gale officiating. Cremation to follow at Humber Valley Crematorium. </span><span style="font-family: Calibri;">&nbsp;As expressions of sympathy, flowers are graciously accepted or donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society.&nbsp; The family guest book may be signed or a memorial donation may be made through our website www.fillatre.ca.</span></p>
